1. Who We Are
The Integrity Protocol is operated by Institute for Sexual Integrity LLC, doing business as the South Carolina Institute for Sexual Integrity (SCIFSI). References to "we", "us", or "our" in this Policy mean SCIFSI. Contact: support@scifsi.com.
2. Information We Collect
- Account information: name, email address, and optionally a mobile phone number.
- Program data: check-in responses, week reflections, homework completions, and relapse autopsy entries you submit through the curriculum.
- Payment data: subscription and billing events processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.
- SMS consent records: if you opt in to text message notifications, we store the timestamp, source, and verbatim consent text of your opt-in, and any subsequent opt-out timestamp.
- Promotional email preference: if you opt in, we store the timestamp, source, and verbatim consent text. Account, billing, and security emails do not depend on that choice.
- Usage data: login timestamps, page visits, and error logs used to operate and improve the service.
- Public-page analytics: on pages someone can open without signing in, we may send Google Analytics a page name, the program chosen at sign-up, and a short referral or campaign code from the link they used. Google stores a cookie so it can tell one visit from another. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, account IDs, mentor names, or anything written in the program.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To deliver the curriculum and track your progress.
- To send transactional emails (account verification, password reset, weekly unlock).
- To send SMS notifications if you have opted in — see Section 5 below and our Terms of Service §5.
- To allow your assigned mentor to review your submitted program work.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- To see which public links lead to a completed sign-up. That count does not include your name, email address, or program writing.
4. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only:
- With your assigned mentor, who can view your submitted reflections, exercises, and check-in history within the platform.
- With service providers acting on our behalf (Stripe for payments, Twilio for SMS, our email delivery provider), bound by data-processing agreements.
- With Google Analytics, for those public-page visit and sign-up counts only. Pages you see after you sign in are not sent to Google Analytics.
- When required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
5. SMS / Text Messaging
If you provide a mobile phone number and check the SMS consent box, we will send you text message notifications as described in our Terms of Service §5.
We store the timestamp, channel (signup form or settings page), and verbatim consent text of your opt-in. If you opt out, we record the opt-out timestamp and immediately cease all outbound SMS.
Your mobile phone number and SMS consent records are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. They are transmitted to Twilio solely for message delivery, under a data-processing agreement.
To opt out, reply STOP to any text message or disable SMS in your account settings.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account and program data for as long as your account is active. You may request full account deletion at any time from your account settings. Deletion removes your personal data and program records from our active database within 30 days, subject to legal-hold obligations.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures including TLS encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and role-based access controls. No system is completely secure; please protect your own account credentials.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email support@scifsi.com.
9. Children
The adult program tracks are intended for users 18 and older. Users aged 13–17 may access the Adolescent Program with verifiable parent or guardian consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated by email to your registered address.
